Eleanor Kinross
Ex-Mistress - Mother of Godiva - 25 - Eleanor Tomlinson
Eleanor was Edward's mistress, and is the mother of his bastard, Godiva Fitzroy. Her and Edward began their affair when they were 15, and she became his mistress officially when they were 18. They were quite happy, and she actually earned respect from some for being a royal mistress. She's the sister of one of Edward's closest friends, Lucan Kinross. When Galahad came to court, she wasn't aware of his interest in men. And when Galahad became his lover, she became his enemy. She blamed him for everything,in short. And they had a bit of a war for Edward's affection. Of course, nobody knew about this secret war, only Eleanor, Galahad and Edward. And then she became pregnant when she was 23. She gave birth to Godiva, a daughter. She at first refused to have Godiva's surname be Fitzroy, as that would mean it would be shared with her enemy. She also hated the knowledge that Galahad and Godiva were distantly related. She formally stopped being his mistress shortly after Godiva's birth, of her own choice. It's up to you why she left Edward. She's going to end up as one of Afton's ladies when she marries Edward. She and Edward are relatively friendly, but mainly because of Godiva. They're both doting parents, and spoil her constantly.
Galahad Fitzroy
Paramour - Bard - 24 - Richard Madden
Galahad is Edward's paramour. He was raised in Ellesmar, his parents servants to the Devonshires. Galahad is a bard, and was a childhood friend of Lady Afton. He came to Amorrosa five years ago, when Afton first met her husband. And he was quite taken with the prince. It took Edward three days to seduce Galahad. Galahad stayed in Amorrosa with his new lover. He and Eleanor Kinross were enemies almost instantly. She the mistress and he the usurper. When Godiva was born, Galahad was briefly outdone by Eleanor. But he was soon back on top. And when Eleanor ceased being his mistress, Galahad was almost the only lover Edward had. Galahad was far from faithful, getting around the men of court quite quickly. Edward was jealous, but he couldn't complain, he wasn't faithful either. Galahad is descended from Edward's great-great-great-great grandfather, John II of Amorrosa. That's why he bears the name Fitzroy.
Lucan Kinross
'Friend' - Secret Enemy - 26 - Kit Harington
Lucan is not a happy little unicorn. He was one of Edward's closest friends, and they were raised together. He's the brother to Eleanor, and secretly a Thornborough supporter. He was Edward's first crush, but never knew. He might know about Edward's sexuality, it's up to you. But he won't have told anyone if he does know. He's not the loudest of people, and prefers not to be noticed, which contrasts mightily with the prince. He's a warrior, and was knighted a few years ago. He was turned against Edward when Eleanor left him, and believed it to be his old friend's fault. And so switched sides. He's plotting against his childhood friend, his thoughts of course conflicted. He does have some conscience against it, as his niece is the man's daughter. But, it does not change anything for him.
